China Grand Tour

A twelve-day classic covering imperial Beijing, the Terracotta Army, the karst landscapes of Guilin and the modern skyline of Shanghai, with bilingual guides throughout.

Day by day

1. Days 1–3 — Beijing

   Great Wall at Mutianyu, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven and a hutong rickshaw tour.

2. Days 4–5 — Xi'an

   High-speed rail south, Terracotta Warriors, Muslim Quarter and city wall cycling.

3. Days 6–7 — Guilin

   Li River cruise to Yangshuo, West Street and countryside cycling.

4. Days 8–9 — Hangzhou

   West Lake cruise, Lingyin Temple and a Longjing tea village.

5. Days 10–11 — Suzhou & Shanghai

   Classical gardens, silk workshop, the Bund and Yu Garden.

6. Day 12 — Departure

   Transfer to Shanghai Pudong Airport.
